Flight Connections at London Heathrow Airport
Over nine million passengers a year connect to other flights at Heathrow. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are all located in the centre of the airport and are within walking distance of each other via underground walkways. Terminal 4 is located on the south side of the airport, and can be reached from the other terminals via the free inter-terminal coach transfer service.
Always make sure that you allow yourself plenty of time between your connecting flights, especially if your baggage has not been checked through to your final destination.
If you are connecting from an international flight to a UK or Ireland flight, you will need to pass through passport control and immigration. If you are connecting from a UK or Ireland flight to an international flight, you will need to pass through special immigration control points where you may be asked to show your passport.
