Parking at Stansted Airport

There are three different types of car park at Stansted, with rates reflecting their proximity to the terminal.

Short Stay Parking

Recommended for stays up to five hours - ideal for when you want to meet friends and family from a flight, or see someone off. The car park is linked to the terminal with just a short walk between the two.

Mid Stay Parking

Operated by Pink Elephant Parking.

The new e-parking site at Stansted offers a new parking option between long and short stay, and is located on the approach road to the terminal. Transfers from e-parking to the airport operate frequently, and take about 5 minutes - half the time of the standard long stay car park. However, you are advised to allow 20 minutes transfer time from parking in the Mid Stay car park to arriving at the terminal building.

You can use this service by simply driving in, entering your credit card and parking. The correct amount will be debited from your card when you leave. However, you can save money by pre-booking a space. Pre-booking is also important during peak periods, as the Stansted Airport parking sites can get full very quickly during these times.

Long Stay

Operated by Pink Elephant Parking.

Long term parking is located conveniently just off the M11 motorway as you enter the Stansted Airport complex. A free transfer service runs between the car park and the terminal every 8 minutes at peak times, and every 20 minutes off-peak. Transfer times are approximately 15 minutes, although you are advised to allow 45 minutes transfer time from parking in the long stay car park to arriving at the terminal building.
